The menu item opens
the Changes in Contacts window.
The contact changes history is represented as a table, with the following
columns:
- Contact # - the contact's identifier in the
database. Assigned automatically and is non-editable.
- Field - name of the field whose value changed
as a result of editing.
- Value - the value of the field after editing.
- Date - date and time the changes had been
made.
- User - the name of the user who had made
the changes.
Below the history list there are filtering controls, allowing to select
only a subset of the list.
Contact Changes History can be filtered by the following criteria:
- By the contact number, which is automatically assigned and is not editable.
To display only changes made to a given contact number, enter the contact
number into the Contact # numeric entry field
under the table.
- By time period the changes are supposed to have occurred. Use date picker
fields to choose the earliest and the latest date limits.
Having entered either or both of the criteria, click on Show
button to see the filtered history in the table.
